Account

How do I delete my account?

Open Tribes and go to Settings → Delete Account. You'll be asked to confirm your password, then your account and personal data are permanently removed. Deletion is irreversible — your posts, messages, projects, and profile are gone for good.

I didn't get my verification email.

Check your spam folder first. You can resend it from the banner at the top of the app, or from Settings. If it still doesn't arrive, email us and we'll sort it out.

How do I change my profile, roles, or availability?

Tap your profile, then Edit Profile. Roles, bio, photo, location, and your "open for collabs" status can all be changed there — updates are visible to the community immediately.

Tribes Pro

How do I cancel or manage my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed through Apple. Open your iPhone's Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Tribes to change plans or cancel. Canceling keeps Pro active until the end of the current billing period. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

I bought Pro but it's not showing up.

In the Tribes paywall, tap Restore Purchases — this re-syncs your subscription from the App Store, including on a new device. If it still doesn't appear after a minute, email us with the Apple receipt.

How do refunds work?

Payments are processed by Apple, so refund requests go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Sign in with the Apple ID you purchased with, find the Tribes charge, and choose "Request a refund."

Safety

How do I report a post or a person?

Use the report option on any profile or piece of content. Reports go straight to our moderation queue — we review them and act on violations, typically within 24 hours. Reporting is anonymous; the person is never told who reported them.

How does blocking work?

Blocking someone stops them from messaging you or sending you collab requests. You can block from any profile, and unblock later from your settings if you change your mind.

What content isn't allowed on Tribes?

Anything illegal, hateful, harassing, pornographic, violent, or deceptive — the full list is in our Terms of Use. Tribes is a professional community and we enforce a zero-tolerance policy, up to and including account removal.

Data & privacy

What data do you collect, and can I get a copy?

Everything we collect and why is laid out in our Privacy Policy. For access, correction, or export requests, email support@tribes.network and we'll respond within the timeframe required by law.

Do you sell my data or show ads?

No. Tribes doesn't sell personal information, doesn't run third-party ads, and doesn't track you across other apps. The business is the Pro subscription — you're the customer, not the product.
