These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Tribes iOS app and the tribes.network website (together, the "Service"), operated by Tribes ("we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Tribes. You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You may delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete Account.
You retain ownership of the content you create and share on Tribes — posts, messages, images, voice messages, moodboards, and projects ("Content"). By posting Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and transmit that Content solely to operate and provide the Service. This license ends when you delete the Content or your account, except where Content has been shared with others (for example, messages you sent remain visible to their recipients) or where retention is required by law.
Only upload Content you have the right to share. Do not post material that infringes someone else's intellectual property.
Tribes is a professional community for creatives. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You agree not to post or transmit Content that:
Moderation: every member can report content or accounts (via the report option on profiles and content) and block other members. Blocked members cannot message you or send you collaboration requests. We review reports and act on violations — including removing content and suspending or terminating accounts — typically within 24 hours of a report. We may remove any Content or restrict any account that we reasonably believe violates these Terms.
Tribes offers an optional auto-renewable subscription, Tribes Pro, available in monthly and yearly plans. Prices are shown in the app before purchase and are charged in your local currency through your Apple ID.
You agree not to: access the Service by automated means (scraping, bulk collection of member data); attempt to bypass security rules, rate limits, or subscription entitlements; reverse engineer the app except where permitted by law; or use the Service to develop a competing dataset of its members.
Calls and voice messages are transmitted in real time through our infrastructure providers. We do not record calls. Voice messages you send are stored so recipients can play them, and are deleted when you delete them or your account.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk for other members, or are required to be removed by law. Sections 2 (license scope for already-shared Content), 8, 9, and 10 survive termination.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Tribes is a platform for members to connect; we are not a party to collaborations, agreements, or transactions between members and are not responsible for members' conduct, on or off the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tribes will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or US$50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Tribes operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. We may update these Terms from time to time; significant changes will be announced in the app, and the effective date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
